PROPERTY CHANGEOVER ARRANGEMENTS
Your property will be available for occupancy from 16.00h on your day of arrival. To allow time for cleaning and preparation outgoing clients must vacate at 10.00h on day of departure. If you are departing late in the day we will endeavour to provide a place for your luggage. Cleaning a quality property is a major operation, particularly if it is left in a dirty condition. A condition of booking is that homebound holidaymakers leave the property in a reasonably clean condition as we are only allowing 1 hour cleaning per property. If excess cleaning is required it will be charged to the departing client at £15 per hour midweek and £20 per hour at weekends.

BREAKAGE/CLEANING DEPOSIT
We charge a breakage / cleaning deposit on arrival of £100/150€ per accommodation. This must be paid in cash (euros or sterling upon collection of keys). This will be returned to you on departure assuming all is in order when our cleaners have checked out the accommodations.

SATELLITE
In all accommodations offering this facility please note that the channels you receive on satellite TV depend on the resort and accommodation you book. In general you can expect an English language news channel such as CNN or BBC World plus in many cases Eurosport. Any other channels you receive are a bonus. Loss of English speaking channels are beyond MDO's control and no compensation is paid.

SEASONAL VARIATIONS
It is always very difficult for us to give an exact description of the facilities and atmosphere holidaymakers can expect from a resort. They are to a certain extent open to individual interpretation. What to one person is too busy and noisy is to another not enough going on. Even on exactly the same holiday seasonal variations can give a significantly different atmosphere and style of holiday. In general, if you take your holiday in July and August you can expect all facilities open to you, both within your accommodation and resort. In June and September most facilities will still be available though some resort facilities may not be fully available. In April, May and October some reduction of resort facilities can be expected though the added space both on the beaches and resorts for most visitors at this time of year is a real bonus. The winter months November to March sees the crowds disappear and the entire region returns to tranquility. Many regular visitors to the Costa Brava will tell you winter is the best time to visit. Empty roads, deserted resorts and much to explore. If you are visiting at this time of year you really must hire a car. You will find the Costa Brava breathtaking at this time of year and there is so much to see and explore. Please ask for advice.

BARBEQUES
Barbeques are available in the following properties: Mar D'or Penthouse apartments, Villa Catalan, Casa Kati, Villa Vista, Villa Oro. Permission to use barbecues is subject to no changes in the rules by the management committees of each individual complex. We have no reason to believe changes are planned for 2007.

ACCOMMODATION RULES AND REGULATIONS
It is important that you familiarise yourself with the rules and regulations at your accommodation (a copy will be available to you in resort) in order to avoid embarrassment and potentially being asked to leave your accommodation. Remember most of our accommodations are in private developments and you will be holidaying alongside owners and residents. MDO Ltd. will not be responsible for finding alternative accommodation should you be asked to leave you holiday home.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is very important that you insure yourself with a good holiday policy. Do not just accept any policy. Remember to buy your policy before you pay your final balance to MDO Ltd. otherwise if a member of your party falls ill and you have to cancel you will lose your money. May we also suggest that you take out a policy that covers such contingencies as blockades and civil strife etc. as most policies only cover for strikes. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing.

OUT AND ABOUT
The Emporda region of the Northern Costa Brava really is a superb and beautiful region with hill villages, a dramatic coastline and an ancient history and culture. Our representative offers a full range of excursions including Barcelona, Port Aventura and many many more. Activities such as golf, quad biking, sailing etc. can also be arranged for you either in advance of you holiday or whislt in resort. Car hire is also available through our representative.

PROPERTY CONTENTS
As all of our properties are privately owned, the contents, layout and style of each property will vary. The taste of the owner will be reflected in their property. WE work closely with all of our owners to maintain high standards. We have a basic contents guideline and we advise them on how to make their property more comfortable for holiday makers. However MDO Limited has little control over fixtures, fittings etc. Remember, you are renting a holiday home in Spain therefore most of the owners are Spanish so the contents may not be that of an English property owner eg. Spanish drink coffee not tea so a coffee perculator may be provided but an electric kettle and teapot may not!

*Please note that all properties in our programme are throughly cleaned and checked after all departing clients. All appliances such as boilers, air con units, heaters, dishwashers, washing machines etc. are serviced regularly by the property owners. Should any maintenance need to be carried out during your stay our team will endevour to rectify any problems as quickly as possible with minimum disturbance to your holiday.
